Amanda Nash CMT, CLT
Amanda is a massage therapist, certified in the state of Indiana, and is a member in good standing with ABMP. She has been a massage therapist since 2009, graduating from Indiana Therapeutic Massage School with training in relaxation, deep tissue and therapeutic massage techniques. She also achieved certification in 2012 as a lymphatic specialist, trained in the Vodder Technique; using Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Complete Decongestive Therapy for the treatment of many conditions affecting the lymphatic system.
Most recently, in April 2014, she acquired certification in Massage Cupping (also known as Vacuum Therapy) to assist her work with the lymphatic system, scar therapy and assorted deep tissue massage techniques. Amanda finds great fulfillment in her role as a massage therapist. As a cancer survivor she knows first hand the beneficial effects regular massage can have not only on your body but on your spirit as well. Massage helped her to reconnect with herself while in treatment and during her long recovery after. Lymph Drainage Therapy, specifically, was instrumental in rehabbing from a disfiguring surgery by helping to reduce swelling and improve the texture of her scars. The powerful effect this lymph technique had, on all aspects of her life was what inspired her to become certified in this modality. The ability to assist her patients while they walk their own path to recovery is the greatest of gifts and she considers it an honor to be a part of their journey.
